Quoted: "A. Square" from "Flatland" by Edwin A. Abott, 1884 Edwin Deen is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since 2006 he has participated in a variety of group exhibitions.  In 2009 he graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie with a nomination for the GRA-Award. Following his graduation he won the Art Olive Young Talent prize 2009.
 
During the aftermath of 2009's severe winter (from 1 February till 20 April 2010), he was the first artist-in-residence at Fundacja Atelier in Warsaw, Poland. Here he worked at the new series of small installations: "flatland", that will be exhibited from 25 June in Galeria Fundacja Atelier, Foksal 11 Warsaw. www.atelier.org.pl
